Art Auction To Celebrate Life

Sponsored by:

Jackson, CA — An evening of generosity and celebration brought in more than $65K to the Hospice of Amador and Calaveras.

The nonprofit recently held its 26th annual “Celebrate Life” Art Auction on the Lawn and heralded its success. It brought together community members, artists, donors, and supporters for an evening that raised over $66,000, according to organizers, who noted that the money will help provide “compassionate, quality end-of-life care to patients and families” in Amador and Calaveras Counties.

“This event is a beautiful reminder of what can be accomplished when a community comes together for a cause,” said Samantha Lukow, Executive Director of Hospice of Amador and Calaveras. “We are so grateful to everyone who donated, volunteered, sponsored, and attended to make this year’s Art Auction such a success.”

The event was sponsored and held at the Karmére Winery in Plymouth, which also donated the vino. They also noted that funds raised from the auction directly support Hospice of Amador and Calaveras’ mission to provide compassionate, comprehensive end-of-life care regardless of a patient’s ability to pay.

“The success of this event would not have been possible without the dedication of our local artists, donors, and volunteers, who shared their talents and time in support of hospice care in our community,” shared Hospice of Amador and Calaveras.
