Beardsley Lake
Beardsley Campground has around 26 campsites open on a first-come, first-served basis during the season (May to October) Come early and mid week because once you discover this hidden jem you understand why it is so popular with others who have found it.
Most of the shoreline is very steep but the view and remoteness of this alpine lake is well worth discovering for yourself. The day use area has stoves, tables, flush toilets, a nature trail and several great places to fish from. For more about camping in the Stanislaus National Forest go here.
