Governor Schwarzenegger touts a homebuyers tax credit

Sacramento, CA -- Governor Schwarzenegger continues to push for $200 million to be set aside to extend a homebuyers tax credit.
The Governor wants to make available a $10,000 tax credit for the purchase of a home.
Schwarzenegger stated during a Press Conference, "We want to get people off the fence and into the sales office to buy those homes and to be part of the American Dream, because I think it is the American Dream, to own your own home."
It is part of an overall job creation package that Schwarzenegger will soon introduce to the legislature.
