Sonora, CA -- The retail store chain Kohl's is looking to move into the former Gottschalks space in the Junction Shopping Center.
"I can confirm that Kohl's has taken out an application for tenant improvements at the former Gottschalks building," says Craig Pedro, Tuolumne CAO. "We'd be excited about having Kohl's in our community, both for the jobs they would bring and the retail shopping opportunities."
Kohl's operates 1,059 stores across 49 states, including locations across the central valley. Kohl's is the 24th largest retailer in the U.S.
Kohl's has not announced any potential timelines or when they may open in the Junction Shopping Center.
