Schwarzenegger Wants '08 RNC In California
Governor Schwarzenegger is endorsing Anaheim´s bid to host the 2008 Republican National Convention. He´s attending the GOP convention in New York this week, and
says that a California convention would help bring business to the state. He added that San Francisco would be a "great" site as well.
Anaheim is seeking both the Democratic and Republican conventions in 2008. Competition is expected to come from Atlanta, Detroit and Tampa, Florida.
Meanwhile, Tuolumne County´s Bush Cheney ´04 Committee is holding a party tonight at the Mother Lode Fairground The republicans will gather at the Creekside building between 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. tonight to watch the nomination speech by President George Bush at the Republican National Convention.
