Escaped S.C.C. Arson Suspect Pleads Not Guilty
Sonora, CA - During Sierra Conservation Center inmate George Lopez's arraignment in Tuolumne County Superior Court, he pled not guilty to a number of charges connected to his escape last July.
Lopez allegedly burned down a home at 6,900 O'Byrnes Ferry Rd., stole items from the home and burglarized the Chinese Camp Fire Station.
Lopez's preliminary hearing has been scheduled for August 19th at 1:15pm in Department Four of Tuolumne County Superior Court.
