Riverbank Pair Arrested On Multiple Drug Charges

Sonora, CA -- Early Friday morning, 45 year old Vincent Keith Ellis and 20 year old Brandon Keith Ellis were arrested by the Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Department on multiple charges.

At 2am Duputy Jeff Gempler was southbound on Hwy 49 near Sims Rd. when he spotted a vehicle parked on the side of the road. Several subjects were outside the car with a flashlight looking for "crystals."

The senior Ellis was found to have a warrant for his arrest in Amador County. In a search of the vehicle Gempler discovered methamphetamine, a meth smoking pipe, alcohol, a hydrocodone tablet and marijuana.

A total of four individuals were arrested and transported to the County Jail.
