Work Will Begin Monday On Tuolumne Rd. Railroad Crossing
Sonora, Ca -- Beginning Monday and continuing through Friday, the Tuolumne County Public Works Dept. and the Sierra Railroad will be working in conjunction to upgrade/repair the railroad crossing on Tuolumne Rd.
Public Works Superintendent Barry Bynum says travelers will be subject to construction zone traffic controls during the four day stretch. Delays are to be expected, and Bynum recommends that residents find an alternate route of travel.
There will be no Junction Shopping Center access from Tuolumne Rd. in the eastbound direction. The far right, westbound lane, will be dedicated to Junction access only. During the four days, crews will be on scene during the morning, day and night.
