San Andreas Resident Slightly Injured In Single Vehicle Accident
San Andreas, CA -- 18 year old Jacob Cruz of San Andreas suffered a laceration to the left side of his head Monday morning at 6:35 when his 2004 Toyota Corolla left Hwy 49/Campo Seco Turnpike at a speed of between 40-45 mph.
Cruz was headed in a southbound direction when he was blinded by the sun while attempting to pull down his visor. His vehicle drifted to the right, left the roadway, ascended a steep bank, hit a couple of small trees and then returned to the highway on the west shoulder of the southbound lane.
The car suffered numerous dents. No arrest was made by the C.H.P.
