Angels Camp, Ca -- Bret Harte High School students have organized a group that will head out Saturday to raise awareness about Measure K, an $18 million bond measure that would allow for upgrades and improvements to schools in the Bret Harte District.

Saturday´s effort is being lead by Wes Sagewalker, the student spokesperson for Measure K. If approved on November 4th, Bret Harte High School would see the construction of four new science laboratories, four basic classrooms and two classrooms designed to fit the needs of special education students. It would also allow for the modernization of many existing facilities and athletic fields across the District.

Students will begin walking through neighborhoods and going door-to-door at around 9:30am and they plan to continue throughout most of the day.
