DUI Checkpoint Scheduled For Sonora
Sonora, Ca -- With assistance from the CHP, the Sonora Police Department will conduct a sobriety/drivers license checkpoint operation within the incorporated city limits of Sonora this evening.
Chief Mace McIntosh emphasizes, ?Traffic volume permitting, all vehicles will be checked for drivers that are under the influence of alcohol or drugs or driving while unlicensed. Our goal remains clear; the Sonora Police Department will not tolerate reckless behavior. Our zero tolerance policy remains in effect.?
The checkpoint will be operated from 8pm-2am.
