Serpentine Fire Set For Total Containment Monday

San Andreas, CA -- According to CAL Fire´s Lisa Williams, the 80 percent contained Serpentine Fire, currently listed at 150 acres, will be 100 percent contained at 8am Monday.

No structures have been threatened and no evacuation orders have been issued for the fire that started at 4:16pm Saturday. Cause of the fire remains under investigation.

493 firefighting personnel are on scene including 12 hand crews, 44 engines, nine water tenders, eight dozers, one Air Attack plane, one tanker and two helicopters.

Agencies responding include CAL Fire, Tuolumne County Fire Department, Stanislaus County Fire Department, San Joaquin Fire Department, San Bernardino, Fire, Los Angeles County Fire, U.S. Forest Service, California Department of Corrections, Office of Emergency Services, Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Office and the C.H.P.
