Harvester Causes Burson Vegetation Fire
San Andreas, CA -- CAL Fire reports that a Ford Model 11185 harvester striking a rock was the cause of a five acre vegetation fire late Wednesday morning at 3541 Burson Rd. in Calaveras County.
CAL Fire responded with Air Tactitcal 120, Copter 404 and tankers 82 and 90 from the Columbia Air Base.
In addition San Andreas, Valley Sprintgs and Amador each provided a single engine. Also there were two hand crews from Vallecito.
Foothill Fire provided two engines and a water tender. Single engines also came from Jenny Lind Fire and Clements.
The fire was contained at 12:18pm and the incident was closed at 3:05pm.
