Port Selected To Lead San Andreas Area CHP
San Andreas, CA -- Lt. Tim Port has been named the new Commander of the San Andreas CHP office.
Port is not a stranger to the region having worked in the San Andreas jurisdiction between May 1997 to November 2002.
Port has also worked in the State Capitol Protection Section, State Terrorism Threat Assessment Center, and the Counterterrorism and Threat Awareness Section dealing with Homeland Security Operations. His most recent assignment was the Executive Officer for the Stockton CHP Office.
Outgoing Commander Jerry Pelfanio has been transferred to a position in the Sacramento area.
