Bridgeport, CA -- If you felt a bit of a jolt late last night there is a very good reason.

A 3.9 magnitude earthquake occurred at 11:00:18 11 miles northwest of Bridgeport. The hypocentral depth of the shaker was six miles.

Several people in the Sonora area felt what they labeled to be a sharp jolt.

No damage has been reported.
