Two Busted For Vehicle Theft
Sonora, CA - Sonora Police Department logs show that two men were arrested Friday afternoon on vehicle theft charges.
28-year-old Steven J. Murphy was arrested at a home on East Lyons during the two o'clock after officers spotted a big rig truck that had been stolen earlier in the day.
Officials immediately put out a "Be On The Lookout" alert for an associated vehicle involved in the theft, an 80's blue Datsun Pickup with a lumber rack.
The vehicle was located and pulled over near the intersection of East Lyons and Greenley Road. Arrested was 26 year old Daniel J. Foote.
Both suspects were booked into Tuolumne County Jail.
