Arnold, CA -- A blown transformer has left 4,600 PG&E customers without power today in Calaveras County.

PG&E says it was caused by a blown transformer, and is primarily affecting the region of Arnold, Avery and Murphys.

Spokesperson Brandy Ehlers says, "We believe an animal got in and caused the blown transformer."

PG&E hopes that everyone will be back online by around 4pm.
