Delta College Eyes Valley Springs?
Valley Springs, CA -- San Joaquin Delta College is reportedly looking at Valley Springs as a possible location for a satellite campus.
College officials will hold a community forum tonight at the Jenny Lind Elementary School beginning at 6:30pm.
"The forums give us a chance to hear what kinds of learning spaces and facilities the community would like to see at our main campus and regional centers," states Dr. Matt Wetstein, Delta's Dean of Planning, Research, and Institutional Effectiveness. "We need to make sure the community has a voice in the kinds of classrooms and learning labs they would like to see."
San Joaquin Delta College has not announced any formal plans for a satellite campus. The Stockton Record reports that community leaders would like to see a campus built north of the downtown area.
