Unemployment Rate Continues To Rise
Sonora, CA -- Tuolumne County's unemployment rate increased to 13.5 percent during October and Calaveras County registered 14.7 percent.
During September Tuolumne County was at 12.7 percent and Calaveras County was 14.3 percent.
The state of California increased to 12.5 percent in October, compared to 12.3 percent in September. The statistics were compiled by the California Employment Development Department.
