Lodi Motorcyclist Injured In Pool Station Rd. Accident

San Andreas, CA -- A Lodi resident suffered a compound fracture to his tibia and fibula of his left leg as a result of a two vehicle accident on Pool Station Rd. Sunday morning at eleven o'clock.

50 year old Robert Hinkle was northbound traveling at a speed of approximately 40-45mph when he allowed his 1998 Honda Superhawk to cross over the double yellow lines into the southbound lane.

He then collided with a 1999 Dodge Dakota driven by 18 year old Joseph Bedford of Copperopolis. The accident occured south of George Reed Drive. 

Hinkle was subsequently life-flighted via a PHI helicopter from the Columbia Air Base to Modesto Memorial Hospital where he was treated for his injuries.

No citation was issued by the CHP.
