Joie De Vie Enjoys Banner Fundraising Effort

Sonora, CA -- Despite the economic downturn the annual Joie De Vie fundraiser enjoyed a banner fundraising effort this year.
According to Sonora Regional Medical Center's Gail Witzlsteiner approximately $55,000 was raised during the Sunday evening event at Ironstone. She adds that is about a 20 percent increase over the funds raised just a year ago.
Each year the funds are designated for cancer patients being treated at S.R.M.C.
Ms. Witzlsteiner commented, "I think we had a wonderful evening. Our guests seemed to really enjoy themselves and our volunteers were utterly outstanding. We accomplished a lot on behalf of our cancer patients this year."
