Stockton, CA -- Power outage numbers continue to fluctuate as P.G.& E. crews continue to work around the clock.

In Tuolumne County the number of outages has actually increased from this morning. The early morning numbers indicated 1,400 customers were without power while the noon numbers show approximately 1,800 still without power. The Sonora and Columbia areas show the greatest concentration.

It's a different story in Calaveras and Amador counties. This morning there were 8,200 customers without power while the noon hour numbers indicate that number has been reduced to 5,145. The greatest concentration remains Angels Camp, Jackson and Ione.

The net gain for the Mother Lode region is 2,655.

P.G.& E. has yet to make an announcement regarding total restoration but at the same time the goal is to have total restoration by day's end.
