New Fire Rages Through Weaverville
Flames burned through houses and businesses after a fast-moving wildfire forced officials to evacuate more than half the Northern California town of Weaverville. Residents who fled last night are waiting to hear if they still have homes. They were evacuated after winds fanned the blaze toward the town. The fire has destroyed at least nine homes, businesses and garages.
