Catalytic Converter Causes Five Acre Vegetation Fire
San Andreas, CA -- A catalytic converter on a deer hunter's vehicle was the cause of a five acre fire in the 2800 block of Willow Creek Rd. Monday evening.
The time of call was 7:30.
CAL Fire units responded from West Point, Valley Springs, Murphys, San Andreas, Copperopolis, Altaville-Melones, Esperanza and Vallecito.
Local units were called from San Andreas Fire and Central Fire.
There were no injuries reported and no structures were damaged. The fire was controlled at 1am.
