Yosemite To Honor National Public Lands Day

Yosemite, CA - In celebration of National Public Lands Day, Yosemite National Park, and all other National Park sites, will offer free admission this Saturday.
One third of all land in the United States is set aside as public land, and Saturday is designed to educate residents about natural resources and the environment.
In addition to waiving entrance fees, Yosemite will host special programs and volunteer work parties. Also taking place this weekend is the sixth annual Yosemite Facelift. During this time, volunteers donate time picking up litter from various locations around the park.
