Historic Bell Discovered In Glencoe
San Andreas, CA -- And the bell is found ... that´s the title of a rather unique story in which a 1980´s vintage Calaveras High School bell was found this past Friday by a former Redskin student.
That individual was looking for a Christmas tree when she discovered the 300 pound bell at a Glencoe tree farm.
According to the Calaveras County Sheriff´s Department the bell was retired and placed in storage 21 years ago and it was never reported as missing.
