Junior Miss Calaveras Candidates Announced

Angels Camp, CA -- Vying for Junior Miss Calaveras this year are three Avery Middle School students.

The Junior Miss Calaveras Pageant and Junior Frog Jump will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on May 12 at the Altaville Melones Fire Department.

The three competitors are Giuliana Alfinito of Arnold, Kirsten Puccinelli of Murphys and Sarah Hecocks of Murphys. They will be judged on beauty, personality, pleasantness and ticket sales.

The winner will be presented at the Calaveras County Fair and Jumping Frog Jubilee. And the winner of the Junior Frog Jump will automatically be entered into the frog jump finals at the fair.
