Fire Damages Home In Mi Wuk Village

Mi Wuk Village, CA — Firefighters quickly extinguished a residential structure fire in Mi Wuk Village last night.
It ignited at around 6:45pm on Karensa Court. The Mi Wuk Sugar Pine Fire Protection District responded with two engines, a utility and a Fire Chief. Resources were also dispatched from CAL Fire, the Tuolumne County Fire Department and Twain Harte Fire. Due to the quick response the fire was contained to one bedroom. The entire home did sustain smoke and water damage. No residents were in the home when it ignited, and the cause of the blaze is under investigation.
