Update: Structure Fire Near Mt. Elizabeth
Update at 5:50pm: Firefighters have made progress extinguishing the structure fire in the 17000 block of Mount Elizabeth Drive. The forward rate of spread has been stopped. The fire burned a garage building and 1/4 acre of vegetation, according to CAL Fire spokesperson Lindy Schoff. Crews will remain on scene late into the evening mopping up the fire. What caused the fire is still under investigation.
Update at 4:58pm: When firefighters arrived on scene they found a fully involved structure fire in the 17000 block of Mount Elizabeth Drive near Martingale Lane. The fire has also spread to 1/4 acre of vegetation. There is a nearby outbuilding that is also considered threatened.
The fire has a slow rate of spread, according to CAL Fire.

Original story posted at 4:15pm: Sonora, CA — CAL Fire reports multiple resources are working an active structure fire that has spread to vegetation in the Mount Elizabeth area.
Located between Cedar Ridge and Twain Harte, the incident is described as being located in the 17000 block of Mount Elizabeth Drive, near Martingale Lane, off of Kewin Mill Road. We will continue to update you as more details become available.
