Update: Ferretti Road Reopens After Major Injury Crash

Update at 9:20 a.m.: The CHP report Ferretti Road has reopened after a major injury crash near Highway 120 in the Groveland area blocked the roadway for nearly two hours. There remains little details from the CHP on the accident at this time, except that the crash may be DUI related. The accident happened just after 7 a.m.
Original post at 7:43 a.m.: Groveland, CA — Emergency crews and the CHP are on the scene of a collision on Ferretti Road off of Highway 120.
There are major injuries in the crash with an air ambulance being called to the scene. The wreckage is blocking the roadway and officers are directing traffic. The CHP reports the crash may be DUI related. We will bring you more details as soon as they come into the newsroom.
