Feeding the Hungry and Homeless in Tuolumne County

Sonora, CA — Ed Wyllie, Sonora Area Foundation Executive Director, reports that the Foundation is making progress in encouraging effective and efficient ways to help feed the hungry.

Conversations between six local organizations were facilitated by Carolyn Lott who works for the Yosemite Stanislaus Solutions group. The six organizations are; ATCAA Food Bank, Interfaith, Sierra Senior Providers (Meals on Wheels), Lighthouse Ministries, Christian Heights Church and Sierra Bible Church. The six groups with participants from Tuolumne, Soulsbyville, Groveland and Lake Don Pedro attend a newly created group with the common goal of feeding the hungry.
