Accident Closes Sonora Street

Sonora, CA — Sonora Police are conducting one-way traffic control on Stewart Street due to a vehicle versus motorcycle accident. The crash is between William and Gold Streets near the Hueton Memorial Chapel. Traffic is getting backed up and Police are asking motorist to avoid the area if possible by using Washington Street as an alternative route. There is no word on injuries at this time.
Update 12:30 pm: Sonora Police report that debris from the crash has been cleared and traffic is moving freely.
