Smoke In Calaveras County?
Calaveras County, CA -- Many people have been calling 911 today after noticing a column of smoke in the Blue Mountain area of Calaveras County.
CAL Fire reports that Sierra Pacific Industries is doing some planned burning in that area. Officials report that SPI has approval from the Air Pollution Control District to carry out the burning. Residents in the area should not be alarmed.
