Death Investigation Update
Sonora, CA -- An autopsy was conducted on the man who was found dead in the back of his pickup truck in the Crossroads Shopping Center.
The Sonora Police Department says the man is identified as 57-year-old Bill Scott Peterson. The autopsy found that he died of a heart attack. Peterson was located on Monday afternoon at around 3:15pm. An employee at the shopping center went to check on Peterson because he had not been seen for about four days. He was living in the pickup truck.
