Business Licenses Becoming More Expensive
San Andreas, CA -- Calaveras County government leaders say that the price of a business license will go up by $1 in January.
Governor Jerry Brown signed into law SB 1186, which adds a state fee to licenses, new or renewal. The purpose is to increase ADA compliance and develop educational resources for businesses that must comply with federal and state disability laws.
Beginning January 1st, a new business license in Calaveras County will cost $76, and the price to renew will be $26.
