Sonora, CA - The CHP reports a possible water main break on 255 North Stewart Street and East Cowan Street in Sonora. A caller reported water in the roadway. Tuolumne Utilities District is being called to the scene. Motorists may want to avoid the area. We will bring you more information as soon as it becomes available.

Update 6:10 p.m.: CHP is on the scene and reports water was coming from a pipe nozzle. They were able to shut it off.
