General Plan Item Up For Vote

San Andreas, CA -- The Calaveras County Supervisors will vote on an issue related to the General Plan and decide whether to purchase a communications tower for the Sheriff's Office.
At Tuesday's meeting, the Board will vote whether to approve a contract with Raney Planning and Management for consultant services for the General Plan Update. The contract would run through next year, and not exceed $299K.
The Board will decide whether to purchase a new 160 ft. communications tower for the Sheriff's Office Dispatch Center. The $55K would be paid to Western States Contracting Alliance.
The Supervisors are also scheduled to approve a resolution adopting the Mokelumne Hill Design Guidelines that will apply to the Moke Hill Planning Area, specifically the Historic District, Designated Historic Buildings, and proposed Gateways.
Tuesday's meeting begins at 9am in the Government Center in San Andreas.
