All Passes Closed

Due To Snow

Caltrans says all three passes are now closed due to snow. Highway 120 Tioga Pass was open this morning, but shutdown around 1 p.m. at Crane Flat. Highway 108 Sonora Pass is closed at Kennedy Meadows and Highway 4 Ebbetts Pass is shutdown at the Mount Reba Turnoff.
This comes as the National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for the region through early tomorrow morning. Snow levels could fall to as low as 2000 to 2,500 feet by tomorrow morning. Keep it tuned right here for the latest weather information. Several inches of snow are expected in the high Sierra.
