Foundation Collecting Money For Sandy Relief

Sonora, CA -- The Sonora Area Foundation is helping to collect donations for the hurricane relief effort along the East Coast.
"We will be coordinating our efforts with the Council on Foundations, who will be helping to identify appropriate organizations to direct donations towards," says Ed Wyllie, SAF Executive Director. "One hundred percent of the donations received at the Foundation will be forwarded to help recover from this natural disaster."
Wyllie says checks can be sent to the Sonora Area Foundation, and make sure to write "Hurricane Sandy Relief" on the memo line. Donations can be sent to PO Box 577, Sonora, CA 95370. You can also drop them off at the Foundation office at 362 S. Stewart Street.
