Shooting Near Jamestown
Jamestown, CA -- Tuolumne County Sheriff's are on the scene of an apparent self inflicted gunshot wound.
It happened around 8 am on Jacksonville Road South of Jamestown. Sheriff's officials report a man has shot himself in the chest.
They are releasing few details on the incident. An ambulance is on the scene.

Update 8:35 a.m.: Sheriff's officials report air ambulance just landed in Jamestown to take victim to Modesto Hospital.
Update 9 a.m.: Sheriff'f officials report an air ambulance just took off from Jamestown with with the victim and it is headed to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto. There is no word on his condition.
Update 9:45 a.m.: Sheriff's officials are not releasing the victims name or additional information on the incident saying they cannot comment on an ongoing investigation.
