East Sonora Bypass Pilar

Avoid a stretch of the Highway 108 Bypass late this afternoon.
Caltrans reports that it will be completely shut down from the Mono Way turnoff to Standard Road. The closure will be from 4pm until 5pm. Motorists will need to find an alternate route. The work is part of the $52.9 million East Sonora Bypass Stage II project that began in mid-April. It will extend Stage One of the Bypass, which was completed in 2002.
