Energy - power lines
Energy - power lines

Calaveras County, CA - PG & E reports all customers have power once again after lightning blows a transformer on Darby Russell Road near the intersection of Wild Ridge Drive yesterday.

PG & E reports the electricity went on for the last 67 customers around 2am. They say in total through out the outage up to 221 people were without power.

PG & E says the additional storm that came through last night slowed crews up that were on scene to fix the transformer.

During heat or snow, overburdened electric cables, transformers, and other electrical equipment can fail. Be safe, never touch a downed powerline or electrical equipment. For our yellow page listings of local power providers click here.
