Thunderstorms May Affect The Sierra Nevada
According to the National Weather Service, thunderstorms may occur over the Sierra Nevada mountains this afternoon and this evening.
Monsoonal moisture is moving towards the Sierra from the southeast.
Any storms that develop could cause brief heavy rain, strong gusty winds and dangerous lightning strikes.
