Sonora, CA -- The flames started on Fraguero Road near Rawhide Road after midnight.

Cal Fire reports it took crews 3 hours to contain a 10 acres grass fire. They say the flames moved at a slow rate of spread.

No structures were in danger and there were no injuries. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Cal Fire says the roadway is open, but crews are still on the scene so motorist may want to avoid the area.
