Copperopolis Man Hurt In Crash
Copperopolis, CA -- A Copperopolis man was taken to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto yesterday after crashing into a power pole on Copper Cove Drive.
The accident happened at 11:25am. The CHP reports that 47-year-old Robert Fergus was driving his 1984 Porsche and lost control going into a turn. The car went over an embankment and slammed into a power pole. The vehicle then continued down the embankment and became partially submerged in Copper Creek. It was raining at the time of the accident.
