Fire Weather Watch Issued For Motherlode

The National Weather Service has issued a Fire Weather Watch for both the Motherlode and the Stanislaus National Forest from Saturday morning through Sunday morning.
Winds in the Motherlode above 1000 feet will range from ten to twenty mph with gusts up to thirty-five mph.
Winds in the Stanislaus National Forest will range from fifteen to twenty-five mph with gusts up to fifty mph.
The anticipated winds, combined with low humidity, has necessitated this Fire Weather Watch.
