Porsche Shoots In County
Sonora, CA -- Tuolumne County is featured heavily in a worldwide advertisement put out by automaker Porsche.
Film Commissioner Jerry Day says the footage was shot last May. It features images of the Jacksonville Bridge, New Priest Grade, Highway 108 and J-59.
Roads were briefly blocked off the second week of May. There was much secrecy surrounding shoot. Initially producers indicated it was for Hansa Insurance, which is the company that took out the permit, but the footage was later utilized by Porsche.
The ad was also filmed in desert and coastal regions. Click on the video to view.
