Wet Weather Next Week
Wet and windy weather will return to the Motherlode next week.
According to the National Weather Service, the wet weather will arrive on Monday afternoon and continue periodically through the end of next week.
The Motherlode may see three to five inches of rain.
Wind gusts could exceed fifty mph Monday through Wednesday in the Sierra Nevada.
The snow levels are forecast to begin around 4500 through 5500 feet before lowering to and accumulating in the Motherlode late Wednesday and Thursday morning.
Three to four feet of snow may fall in the Sierra between Monday and Friday.
