February Ready To Blow In
Tuesday, the first day of February, is expected to be a very windy.
But first, Motherlode commuters should expect black ice on several roadways on Monday morning, the last day of January. There may also be areas of fog. The best advice is to allow extra time to reach your destination.
According to the National Weather Service, winds in the Motherlode will likely gust from thirty to forty mph on Tuesday and Tuesday night. The Sierra Nevada should expect gusty winds from fifty to fifty-five mph.
