Sonora, CA -- In preparation of the 2010 Mother Lode Fair, Gale and Vonnie Stegall have been given the "Outstanding Livestock Buyer of the Year" award.
The award was handed out Wednesday afternoon at the Mother Lode Fairgrounds. The Stegalls are longtime Tuolumne County residents and have participated in the Junior Livestock Auction since 1983.
Each year the award is handed out to an individual or business to thank them for their continued support of the Junior Livestock Auction. The Mother Lode Fair runs Friday through Sunday.
